The #1 search engine by far is Google – so much so that the phrase ‘Google it’ has taken over from ‘look it up on a search engine’. Getting a page 1 listing on Google is crucial to obtaining new customers for your business, and obviously the higher up it is, the better. While no-one can guarantee page 1 results, much less the #1 result, the vast majority of website designers have zero idea of seo, and of those that do, only a small percentage understand the intricacies of it.
